Fresh frozen pituitaries are obtained from normal healthy bovine cattle. The pituitaries are extracted using a saline extraction. The extract is filtered through a 0.2 micron filter. The extract remains at or below +5°C throughout the procedure until the product is frozen. Tissue was sourced from a USDA certified facility within the contiguous 48 states of the United States where the animals received ante and post mortem inspection and were found free of contagious diseases.
