Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-BCL2L13 antibody
MBS9604163 at 1/100 staining Human breast cancer tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the antibody for 1.5 hours at 22 degree C. An HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit antibody was used as the secondary.

NCBI Summary for BCL2L13
This gene encodes a mitochondrially-localized protein with conserved B-cell lymphoma 2 homology motifs. Overexpression of the encoded protein results in apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2012]
UniProt Comments for BCL2L13
May promote the activation of caspase-3 and apoptosis.
