Product Note
Select online data sheet information is drawn from bioinformatics databases, occasionally resulting in ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the responsibility of the customer to review, verify, and evaluate the information to make sure it matches their requirements before purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes
Small volumes of ATP10A elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS9326492 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the ATPase, class V, type 10A (ATP10A) ELISA Kit target analytes in
biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ATP10A. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9326492 kit is based on ATP10A antibody-ATP10A antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ATP10A antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ATP10A. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for ATP10A
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of P-type cation transport ATPases, and to the subfamily of aminophospholipid-transporting ATPases. The aminophospholipid translocases transport phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine from one side of a bilayer to another. This gene is maternally expressed. It maps within the most common interval of deletion responsible for Angelman syndrome, also known as 'happy puppet syndrome'. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
UniProt Comments for ATP10A
ATP10A: Defects in ATP10A are a cause of Angelman syndrome (AS); also known as 'happy puppet syndrome'. AS is characterized by features of severe motor and intellectual retardation, microcephaly, ataxia, frequent jerky limb movements and flapping of the arms and hands, hypotonia, hyperactivity, hypopigmentation, seizures, absence of speech, frequent smiling and episodes of paroxysmal laughter, and an unusual facies characterized by macrostomia, a large mandible and open-mouthed expression, a great propensity for protruding the tongue ('tongue thrusting'), and an occipital groove. Belongs to the cation transport ATPase (P-type) (TC 3.A.3) family. Type IV subfamily.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Hydrolase; Membrane protein, multi-pass; EC 3.6.3.1; Transporter, ion channel; Transporter

Research Articles on ATP10A
1. has been proven that hypocaloric diets induce changes in the DNA methylation pattern in PBMCs (CpG18 of ATP10A and CpG 21 of WT1) and that some of these markers could be used as early indicators of response to metabolic effects of weight-loss programs
