Preparation and Storage
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20 degree C/-80 degree C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20 degree C/-80 degree C.
Other Notes
Small volumes of NT5 recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for NT5
The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides to membrane-permeable nucleosides. The encoded protein is used as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in this gene can lead to the calcification of joints and arteries. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]

Research Articles on NT5
1. This study found that in septic critically ill patients the soluble CD73 levels were generally low and showed a further decrease from 0h to 24h. Moreover, the sCD73 levels were higher in acute kidney injury (AKI) versus non-AKI patients and in non-survivors with severe sepsis than in survivors, but were not independently associated either with the development of AKI or 90-day mortal
