Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ADRb1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ADRb1 and analogues was observed. Note: Limited by current skills and knowledge, it is impossible for us to complete the cross- reactivity detection between ADRb1 and all the analogues, therefore, cross reaction may still exist.
Samples
Tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other
biological fluids
Assay Type
Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range
0.312-20ng/mL
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADRb1 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADRb1 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
ISO Certification
Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 Certified Laboratory.
Supply Chain Verification
Manufactured in a lab with traceable raw materials. Bulk orders can typically be prepared to the customera??s specifications, please inquire.
Product Note
Select online data sheet information is drawn from bioinformatics databases, occasionally resulting in ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the responsibility of the customer to review, verify, and evaluate the information to make sure it matches their requirements before purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes
Small volumes of ADRb1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS2023691 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Adrenergic Receptor Beta 1 (ADRb1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ADRb1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2023691 kit is based on ADRb1 antibody-ADRb1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ADRb1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ADRb1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of ADRb1 in rat tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ADRb1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ADRb1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ADRb1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of ADRb1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Summary for ADRb1
The product of this gene phosphorylates the beta-2-adrenergic receptor and appears to mediate agonist-specific desensitization observed at high agonist concentrations. This protein is an ubiquitous cytosolic enzyme that specifically phosphorylates the activated form of the beta-adrenergic and related G-protein-coupled receptors. Abnormal coupling of beta-adrenergic receptor to G protein is involved in the pathogenesis of the failing heart. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
UniProt Comments for ADRb1
GRK2: a ubiquitous protein kinase of the GRK family. Phosphorylates the beta-2-adrenergic receptor and related G-protein-coupled receptors. Appears to mediate agonist-specific desensitization observed at high agonist concentrations. Expression level is consistently elevated in chronic human heart failure. Mouse models of severe heart failure have been used to demonstrate that inhibition of BARK1 with a peptide inhibitor is sufficient to increase mean survival, reduce dialation and improve cardiac function.
