NCBI Summary for ADCK4
This gene encodes a protein with two copies of a domain found in protein kinases. The encoded protein has a complete protein kinase catalytic domain, and a truncated domain that contains only the active and s of the protein kinase domain, however, it is not known whether the protein has any kinase activity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]
UniProt Comments for ADCK4
ADCK4: The function of this protein is not yet clear. It is not known if it has protein kinase activity and what type of substrate it would phosphorylate (Ser, Thr or Tyr). Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. ADCK protein kinase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
