Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-CD9 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-CD9 antibody
Mouse anti Human CD9 antibody, clone MM2/57 recognizes human Leukocyte antigen MIC3 also known as MRP-1 or CD9. CD9 is a 228 amino acid multi pass membrane glycoprotein belonging to the tetraspanin family with a molecular weight of ~24kDa expressed by platelets, monocytes, some lymphocytes and endothelial cells. Mouse anti Human CD9 antibody, clone MM2/57 recognizes a conserved epitope on CD9 present on a wide range of mammalian species.

NCBI Summary for CD9
This gene encodes a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Tetraspanins are cell surface glycoproteins with four transmembrane domains that form multimeric complexes with other cell surface proteins. The encoded protein functions in many cellular processes including differentiation, adhesion, and signal transduction, and expression of this gene plays a critical role in the suppression of cancer cell motility and metastasis.
