Specificity
KLK13 [This rabbit antibody recognizes aa 262-277 of human KLK13 (also known as KLK-L4), one of the many kallikrein serine proteases associated with carcinogenesis.]
This antibody recognizes the gene product hk13 of human KLK13 (also known as KLK-L4), one of the many kallikrein serine proteases associated with carcinogenesis. KLK13 is upregulated by steroid hormones and is expressed in prostate, salivary gland, breast, and testis.

100 ug affinity-purified antibody in PBS, pH 7.4.
Antigen
Peptide corresponding to aa 262-277 of human KLK13 protein.
Preservatives
0.02% sodium azide.
Dilutions Instructions
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
Preparation and Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -70 degree C. Avoid multiple freeze thaw cycles.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-KLK13 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for KLK13
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Expression of this gene is regulated by steroid hormones and may be useful as a marker for breast cancer. An additional transcript variant has been identified, but its full length sequence has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq]
