The basal medium for this cell line is Prigrow X medium available from abm (TM4140). To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum (TM999) to a final concentration of 10% and Penicillin/Streptomycin (G255). Cytokines such as SCF, TPO, FL, IL-3 and G-CSF are needed for growth of cord blood CD34+ cells. Atmosphere:air: 95%, CO2: 5%; Temperature: 37.0°C.
