The principle roles of Human CD19+ B Cells are to make antibodies against antigens, to perform the role of antigen-presenting cells, and to develop into memory B cells after activation by antigen interaction. These cells are useful in adaptive immunity studies. |

These cells are extracted from whole blood using Lymphoprep(R), a hydrophilic polysaccharide that separates layers of blood, with monocytes and lymphocytes forming a buffy coat under a layer of plasma. |
